Telegram ads cost in 2026: CPM, per message, per subscriber
There is no single price for Telegram ads: a channel post, an official Telegram Ads campaign and a message in a bot are priced in completely different ways. Here is how each one is priced, what the same budget buys, and how to compare them honestly.
In short. Channel owners sell posts at a fixed price — convert it to CPM to compare channels. Telegram Ads is a CPM auction: you bid per 1,000 impressions and small advertisers usually start through agencies. Ads in Telegram bots on MGRAM have fixed prices: 0.03 ₽ per delivered broadcast message (30 ₽ per 1,000), 120 ₽ per 1,000 Reply Ads impressions, from 1.10 ₽ per channel subscriber and from 1 ₽ per bot launch. Compare formats by cost per result, not by the price tag.
What drives the price
- Topic. Finance, crypto and business audiences cost more than entertainment: more advertisers compete for them.
- Country and language. Some regions are much more expensive than others.
- Audience quality. Real active users cost more than inflated numbers — and only they pay off.
- Format. Paying per impression, per message or per action changes what you risk.
Channel posts
Channels charge per post. To compare channels of different sizes, convert the price to CPM:
CPM = post price ÷ average post views × 1,000
A post for 5,000 ₽ in a channel with 10,000 average views is a CPM of 500 ₽. What matters more is how many subscribers or leads it brings — a cheap channel with fake views costs more per result than an expensive real one.
Telegram Ads
The official platform sells sponsored messages in large public channels — and, since 2025, in bots — through a CPM auction. Ads are short (up to 160 characters), usually lead to a channel, bot or post inside Telegram, and are paid in TON or through agency accounts. Industry reports put the minimum CPM for ads in bots at €1 at launch; real prices depend on the auction.
Ads in Telegram bots (MGRAM)
| Format | MGRAM price | For comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Broadcast | 0.03 ₽ per delivered message | 30 ₽ per 1,000 delivered |
| SMART broadcast | 0.04 ₽ per message | 40 ₽ per 1,000 |
| Reply Ads | 120 ₽ per 1,000 impressions | CPM 120 ₽ |
| Channel subscribers | from 1.10 ₽ | Paid per confirmed subscription |
| Bot launches | from 1 ₽ | Paid per counted launch |
Audience filters (GEO, language, Premium and others) add a small fee per unit; the bot shows the exact total before you pay. Prices on MGRAM are in Russian rubles (₽); you top up in USDT, TON, via CryptoBot or xRocket, and the bot shows the exact amount before you pay.
What 10,000 ₽ buys in bots
| Format | About |
|---|---|
| Broadcast | 333,333 delivered messages |
| SMART broadcast | 250,000 messages |
| Reply Ads | 83,333 impressions |
| Subscribers | up to 9,091 at the base price |
| Bot launches | up to 10,000 at the base price |
Without filter fees. Reach is not a result yet: judge each format by how many clicks, subscribers and sales the money brought.
How not to overpay
- Compare cost per result — click, subscriber, lead — not cost per post.
- Test small, scale what works.
- Pay for results where you can — per delivered message, subscription or launch.
- Invest in the creative. A strong post lowers the cost per result more than any discount.
- Track every source with its own link or start parameter.
