Buttons, emoji, and effects
How to add link buttons, custom emoji, and Telegram effects.
Buttons are the main way to bring a person from the ad to the goal. In the post editor they are set up in “Buttons”.
How to add a button
- In the post editor tap “Buttons” → “+ Add button”.
- Button text. Short and with a verb: “Subscribe”, “Open the bot”, “Get the bonus”. You can insert a custom emoji into the text — its ID is detected automatically.
- Button URL. The address must start with
https://,http://, ortg://, for examplehttps://t.me/mgram_channel. - Button style. Blue, green, red, or default.
The button appears under the post text right away.
How to edit or delete a button
Open the button in the post's button list — you can change the text, URL, style, and emoji or tap “Delete button”. Each button shows its number of clicks if tracking was enabled in your orders.
Custom emoji
- In the post text, custom emoji are inserted right into the message.
- For a button, the emoji can be set separately: send the emoji itself or its numeric Emoji ID. To remove it, send
0or the word “удалить”.
Custom emoji are not shown in every bot. Some recipients will see a regular emoji instead — the post must stay clear without them.
You can make your own animated emoji in “Tools” — see Emoji generator.
Native effects
“Native post effects” attach a Telegram animation to the message — for example, hearts or confetti that play when a person opens it.
- Pick an effect from the list; it is applied to the post when sent.
- “Remove effect” turns it off.
- If Telegram temporarily doesn't support the chosen effect, the bot warns you.
How many buttons
- One main button usually works better than several equal ones.
- If there are several, put the main one first and highlight it with a color.
- The link should lead straight to the goal — a channel, a bot, or the right page, with no extra steps.
To see clicks on every button, enable click tracking when placing the order.
