How to enable and set up mandatory subscriptions

Step by step on the bot's screens: how to turn on mandatory subscriptions and design the message.

Mandatory subscriptions: instead of the bot's reply the user sees channels to join and bots to start; as soon as they do it, the bot continues right away. You get from 0.77 ₽ per confirmed subscription and from 0.70 ₽ per bot start.

Before you start

  • The bot is connected to MGRAM with a token and has passed moderation — status “Active”. See How to add a bot.
  • There is no minimum number of users — mandatory subscriptions work right away.

How to turn on mandatory subscriptions

Open “My bots”

Send /start to @mgram_robot and tap “My bots” in the main menu.

Turn on “Subscriptions”

Tap “Subscriptions”: the icon turns green and the status shows “Enabled”. From now on the bot's users start seeing the tasks.

  1. Own orders — show your own subscriber and launch orders in the bot.
  2. Channels — how many channels and bots to show in one message: from 1 to 10.
  3. Repeat — how often one person sees mandatory subscriptions: every 12 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days. Between repeats they use the bot freely.
  4. 18+ — allow adult tasks.
  5. Casino — allow casino and betting tasks.
  6. Topics — block specific topics.
  7. Design › — how the message with the tasks looks.

  1. Message text — your own text instead of the default one; you can insert the user's name.
  2. Media — a photo, video, or GIF for the message.
  3. Button color — blue, green, red, or default.
  4. 1 per row — one or two buttons per row; tapping switches the option.
  5. Preview — see the message the way the user will see it.

“Reset” brings back the default design.

Until the person completes the tasks, the bot shows this message instead of a reply. Channels they have joined disappear from the list, and after the last one the bot opens right away.

Income

  • From 0.77 ₽ per subscription and from 0.70 ₽ per start — right after the user's action, sometimes a few minutes later after a check.
  • If the person leaves within 24 hours, the income for that subscription is taken back. Starts are never taken back.
