Click tracking
How MGRAM counts clicks on post buttons and links.
Click tracking shows how many people tapped the buttons and links of your post. Without it, analytics shows only delivery — no clicks and no CTR.
How to enable it
- Broadcasts — the “Click tracking” switch at the broadcast parameters step.
- Reply Ads — the “Tracking” setting in the order card.
- Owner's own broadcasts — the “Track clicks” switch before launch.
How it works
- Links in buttons and in the post text are replaced with short links like mgram.biz/….
- A person taps the link — MGRAM records the click and immediately opens the original address.
- For the person it's seamless: they land where they would without tracking. The visible link text in the post doesn't change.
What is counted
- Taps on every URL button under the post.
- Clicks on links in the post text.
- CTR — the share of people who clicked out of those who received the ad.
What is not counted
- @username mentions and
tg://links. - Links inside code blocks.
- Visits not made through the post: for example, if a person typed the address themselves.
Where to see results
- Clicks, CTR, and clicks per button — in order analytics.
- For Reply Ads, the order card shows “Clicks” and “Average cost per click”.
If your link leads to a website, add your own UTM tags — they are kept, and you'll see MGRAM traffic in your analytics system.
