Frequency and repeats
How often one person gets ads and why it matters.
MGRAM protects bot audiences: a person flooded with ads stops reading them and blocks bots. That's why broadcasts have frequency rules.
Rules
- Pause between broadcasts. One person receives an ad broadcast no more often than once every 6 hours, even if they use several bots.
- New recipients first. Your post doesn't reach the same person again until the other matching users have received it. If orders repeat, the next ones go to those who saw the ad longest ago.
- Users who blocked the bot are excluded. They don't receive broadcasts and are not counted in the available audience.
- Quiet time after a broadcast. Right after a broadcast, the bot doesn't show this person other ads — Reply Ads and mandatory subscriptions — for a while.
What it means for advertisers
- The available audience in a slot can be smaller than the total number of bot users — some people have received ads recently.
- Your message doesn't get lost among a dozen others: the person gets it while still willing to read ads.
- If you order broadcasts often, use different posts so the ad doesn't get boring.
What it means for bot owners
Your bot's users don't get too many ads, block the bot less — and the audience stays alive and keeps earning longer.
Reply Ads
Reply Ads have their own rules: one person sees an ad impression no more than once every 60 minutes, and how many times they can see your specific order is chosen in the “Repeat” setting — see Reply Ads settings.
